About

Be Good Looking People
Timothy S. Farad LAc.,

My dedication to Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine stems from the drive to maximize my own mental, physical and spiritual potential. Not only is it interesting that most any pathology can be addressed, but also the patterns of disease can be identified well before a full manifestation shows itself. In my personal life, I use acupuncture and herbal remedies in conjunction with a whole life system that includes regular exercise, meditation, qi gong, the iching and a high quality diet etc.. Such a comprehensive approach has enabled me to accomplish just about any and every goal that I’ve set for myself. I am convinced that I can help others attain a mind, body, spirit balance that will not only allow for maximum healing and over all well-being, but also set the stage for the accomplishment of ones most important life’s goals. Enjoying all-round health and wellness is required for success and makes it much easier to live and fulfill your life’s purpose.

When there is harmony all things are possible

Timothy Saddiq Farad is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Colorado and is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  Tim has also received his Clean Needle Technique certification for the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Commission, (AAOM). He is a professional member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado.

Tim earned his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The curriculum at this school consists of over 2300 hours of training in acupuncture, practical clinical experience, energetic exercise, and adjunct therapies which include: Tuina, (Chinese massage), Eastern nutrition, moxibustion, cupping, electric stimulation, guasha, and auriculotherapy.

Tim decided to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine after looking for natural ways to enhance athletic performance and excel as a long distance runner.  After modifying his diet along with a few months of treatments, not only did he increased his marathon performance time, reduce pain and shorten recovery, but he also realized that his energy returned to previous levels as if he were many years younger.  It was then that he began further research into practicing traditional medicine.

His treatment philosophy is to treat the whole person, addressing all aspects of a patients’ lives.  By forming a team with his patients, they are able to bring balance to all areas of life. Addressing physical/mental/spiritual health, diet, and lifestyle habits can go a long way to increase ones performance, reduce pain and enhance the quality of life.
